Bethany

I always knew I would have a daughter and I would name her Elizabeth Ann. I dreamt of this child from the time I was a young girl. I envisioned this blonde haired, blue-eyed, mini me. When I was expecting my first child we chose not to find out the sex of the baby, but all along I was still envisioning this little girl. When she was born she was a brown haired, brown-eyed little girl! Not quite my vision but more beautiful than I could have imagined. Then came the task of naming her. My last name is Loncher and I could only think of her growing up a "Lizzy (short for Elizabeth) Loncher." I couldn't do that to her because, to me, it sounded like a cartoon character. I then came up with Beth instead of Elizabeth. The more I ran the two names through my mind (Beth & Ann), they became Bethany. That is how she became my darling Bethany.
